Our Story
Welcome to my Cooking Journey
As a young child I was a picky eater and my Jamaican grandmother would accommodate my dietary needs and would try to make me try new things with fierce resistance from me.
Every year from when I was a baby my grandmother would take me to Jamaica to visit family. I would be immersed in vibrant bright food and would decline trying most. I got into watching cooking channels with my Grandmother and started to feel a better connection to food. I would see recipes broken down and I would say if I leave two ingredients out of the dish I would cook and eat that. Once I moved out and started cooking for myself I slowly started trying new dishes and recipes.
Once I started working as a Personal trainer my colleagues would ask if I could cook food for the for the week, asking recipes and food ideas. I started giving free samples out in the local gym and the orders were coming in weekly while I juggled my other commitments.

In 2019, I launched an online ordering and delivery business and obtained customers that ordered weekly or subscribed monthly. This push me to invest more into my brand and expand the business into catering for events in 2020.
